# DM Hero

> DM Hero (dmhero.ai) is an Instagram DM outreach tool built in Warsaw, Poland: you import your own prospect list, a Chrome extension sends cold DMs and follow-ups from your own Instagram account at a human pace, and when a prospect replies, an AI Setter built on Anthropic's Claude continues the conversation through Meta's official Instagram API, handles objections and takes it to your goal, a call or a sale, by sending your booking, offer or checkout link.

## How it works

- Import leads as a CSV from your spreadsheet, or one by one. That is all it takes to start sending. Scoring, tags and niche groups are optional, you add them in the built-in CRM.
- Setter customized for your persona, based on your knowledge. It learns what you sell and what a good conversation sounds like, then answers questions, handles objections and sends your booking or offer link to leads who are ready. You can test different configuration options at the same time and choose the best one based on the data
- Sequence of personalized cold DMs and follow-ups. Your first DM and follow-ups, with each lead's name filled in and AI-suggested wording variations, on the schedule you set. Once a lead replies, their follow-ups stop.
- Cold DMs sent from your account, at human pace. Our Chrome extension types and sends DMs from your real Instagram account with randomized delays, daily caps and quiet hours.
- It drives the conversation to your goal: a call or a sale. The lead replies and the AI Setter takes the whole conversation. It qualifies, answers questions, handles objections and sends your link: to book a call, where the lead picks the time, or to your offer or checkout. You step in only once the lead is ready.
- Choose the most effective campaigns and DMs. Reply rate per campaign and per template, and how many of those replies turned into a call or a sale. Every day the AI Setter also builds a pain map of your prospects, in their own words, so you know what to write next.

## FAQ

### I already use ManyChat. Do I need this?

ManyChat and Chatfuel are built for inbound: auto-replying to comments, keyword triggers, and simple flows inside conversations you already have. DM Hero is built for outbound, proactively reaching prospects who have never interacted with you. They solve different problems.

### What languages does the AI write in?

Every language Anthropic Claude handles natively, including English, Polish, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese. The model picks up casual vs. formal register and regional phrasing automatically. PL and EN we test before every release; other languages run on the same engine. Cold DM drafts are generated in English and Polish.

### Who is DM Hero not for?

If your goal is blasting identical DMs to thousands of strangers, dropshipping to creators, or running mass auto-comments, this is the wrong tool. DM Hero is built for sales operators, founders and agencies who already know who they want to talk to and want a structured way to actually have those conversations.

### Does DM Hero use Meta's official Instagram API?

DM Hero uses Meta's official Instagram Graph API to connect your account, sync your inbox, send the AI Setter's replies and the ones you write in the inbox, react to messages and automatically DM people who comment on your posts. Cold DMs and campaign follow-ups go out another way: our Chrome extension sends them from your own logged-in account at human pace, through Instagram's web interface, while Chrome is open on your computer. We build and maintain the extension ourselves.

### Which Instagram accounts does DM Hero work with?

DM Hero works with Instagram professional accounts, Business or Creator. You connect yours through Meta's official Instagram login, which doesn't support personal accounts. Switching to a professional account is free in Instagram's settings and needs no Facebook Page, but it makes the account public, since professional accounts can't be private. The Chrome extension sends from whichever account is signed in to Instagram in that Chrome profile, so sign in there with the one you connected.

### Can I connect multiple Instagram accounts?

Yes. How it works depends on what you're scaling. Starter, Growth, Pro and Outbound each cover one Instagram profile. The Multi-reps plans, Pro multi-reps and Outbound multi-reps, let you run several profiles under one team, with separate sending limits and per-rep dashboards, and every rep gets the plan's full limits. Multi-client goes further, with isolated workspaces per client, product or brand, each with its own accounts, templates and reporting. You switch between workspaces from one menu, without signing out.

### How do you handle my data?

We store what the product needs: your Instagram access token (encrypted), your leads, the conversations from the inbox you connect, and your settings. Our app servers (Amsterdam) and database (Ireland) are in the EU. AI features, some on by default, run on Anthropic's Claude API in the US, which receives the lead details and message text they need. Neither we nor Anthropic train AI models on your data, and we never sell it. Export everything to CSV or delete your account in Settings, any time. Our Privacy Policy lists who processes what, and where.
